Before registering or reporting a fault
Keep your proof of purchase

Find your model and serial number
Your product model and serial number can normally be found on the appliance rating label or product identification label.
Installation matters
Products should be installed in accordance with the supplied instructions and by a suitably competent person where specialist work is required.
Do not return a faulty product without contacting us
We may need photographs, serial information or a technical assessment before deciding whether repair, replacement or another remedy is appropriate.

Warranty period
ViandPro warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years, subject to these warranty terms and the applicable product documentation.
Registration
Where registration is required for warranty cover extending beyond 12 months, the product should be registered within 31 days of purchase. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Proof of purchase
Proof of purchase must be provided when making a warranty claim. This should show the purchase or delivery date and identify the product where reasonably possible.
What happens if a covered fault is confirmed?
If a product is confirmed to have suffered a manufacturing defect during the applicable warranty period, ViandPro will determine the appropriate warranty remedy. This may include repair, replacement of defective parts or replacement of the appliance.
Parts replaced under warranty become the property of ViandPro or the relevant service provider. The warranty period for replacement parts normally ends when the original appliance warranty expires.
What is not covered?
Warranty cover does not apply to faults or damage caused by circumstances including:
- incorrect or unsuitable installation;
- misuse, abuse or neglect;
- commercial use where the product is intended for domestic use;
- unauthorised modification or repair;
- failure to follow operating, cleaning or maintenance instructions;
- damage caused by unsuitable cleaning products or materials;
- abnormal environmental or operating conditions;
- accidental or cosmetic damage; and
- normal wear and tear.
Glass, cosmetic and consumable parts
Unless failure is shown to result from a manufacturing defect, warranty cover does not normally extend to fragile, cosmetic or consumable items such as glass, lamps, remote controls, pan supports, burner caps and similar replaceable components.
Access for repair or collection
Where an engineer visit, inspection or collection is required, reasonable access and suitable appointment or collection opportunities must be provided.
Minor variations
Minor cosmetic, dimensional or performance variations which do not materially affect the product’s value, function or fitness for its intended purpose are not treated as warranty defects.
The ViandPro warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies available to consumers under applicable UK consumer law.
