ViandPro telescopic cooker hoods provide powerful extraction in a discreet integrated design. Fitted within a kitchen wall unit, the hood slides out when cooking and retracts neatly afterwards. Available in 60cm and 90cm widths, both models combine stainless steel and black glass with touch controls, LED lighting and ducted or recirculating installation options.
Telescopic Cooker Hoods for Discreet Integrated Extraction
A telescopic cooker hood is designed to provide effective extraction while remaining largely concealed within a kitchen wall unit. Instead of creating a prominent feature above the hob, the extractor is built into the cabinetry, with the front section sliding out when required and retracting neatly after cooking.
ViandPro telescopic cooker hoods are available in 60cm and 90cm widths, providing integrated extraction for both standard and wider cooking areas. Both models combine a stainless steel body with a black glass front panel, giving the visible section a clean contemporary finish when the hood is extended.
How does a telescopic cooker hood work?
The extractor sits within the wall unit above the hob. Pulling the telescopic section forward extends the hood over the cooking area, helping to capture steam, grease and cooking odours. When cooking is finished, the front section can be pushed back into the unit for a much more discreet appearance.
This makes telescopic extractors particularly useful where you want the cabinetry to remain the main visual feature of the kitchen. If you are comparing other wall-mounted extraction styles, you can also browse our wall cooker hoods.
60cm and 90cm telescopic cooker hoods
The ViandPro range includes both 60cm and 90cm models. The 60cm version provides boosted extraction of up to 596.2 m³/h, while the wider 90cm model reaches up to 640.1 m³/h in boost mode.
Choosing the correct width should take account of both the hob and the kitchen unit into which the extractor will be fitted. Check the complete product dimensions and cabinet requirements before ordering rather than relying only on the nominal 60cm or 90cm width.
Touch controls and LED lighting
Both ViandPro telescopic hoods use three-speed touch controls with an LED display, allowing the extraction level to be adjusted to suit different types of cooking. Twin LED lights illuminate the hob below, providing useful task lighting without requiring the extractor itself to dominate the kitchen design.
Washable five-layer aluminium grease filters are fitted to capture airborne grease and can be removed for routine cleaning.
Ducted or recirculating installation
ViandPro telescopic hoods can operate with either external ducting or recirculation. Where a suitable route outside is available, ducted extraction carries cooking vapours and odours away from the kitchen.
For installations where external ducting is impractical, the hood can be used in recirculation mode with the appropriate optional carbon filters. The filtered air is then returned to the room. Carbon filters are consumable items and require periodic replacement.
Planning an integrated installation
Because a telescopic extractor is fitted within kitchen furniture, accurate planning is particularly important. Cabinet dimensions, the position of the hob, required clearance above the cooking surface and the available duct route should all be established before installation.
Choose the 60cm or 90cm model to suit your hob and cabinetry.
Check the full appliance dimensions against the wall unit.
Confirm the required installation height above the hob.
Decide between external ducting and recirculation before fitting.
Allow access to the aluminium grease filters for regular cleaning.
Use the specified carbon filters when installing in recirculation mode.
For customers who prefer their extractor to sit within the kitchen furniture rather than becoming a prominent design feature, a telescopic cooker hood provides a practical combination of integrated styling and strong extraction performance.
